Dr. Tassu Shervani
Dr. Shervani is the Marilyn and Leo Corrigan Endowed Professor at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. He is also a consultant in the areas of global strategy and organization, shareholder value, business models, innovation, and business development. His clients are from the telecommunications, financial services, technology, consumer, manufacturing, healthcare, private equity, and energy sectors. He has also taught executive education programs at Duke University, Emory University, and The University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Ingle has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, consulting, data, mobility applications and innovative solutions. He has been with AT&T for more than 10 years. In his current role as senior vice president of distribution and channel marketing, he is responsible for all sales facing communications, execution of programs, customer advisory councils, digital channels and sales overlays focused on advanced solutions and security.
Mr. Ingle is a regularly featured speaker and panelist at many innovation, mobility and industry specific conferences. He has an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA with high honors in Computer Science and Mathematics from Oberlin College.
Abid Abedi is an entrepreneur with more than 15 startups in technology, wireless services, IT consulting, staffing services, real estate development and education in the United States, Europe and Asia. Outside of the office, Abedi has served on the Board of Directors for eight organizations and won a number of personal awards including EY Entrepreneur of the Year and the Award of Business Excellence from the National U.S. Pan Asian-American Chamber of Commerce. Every year Abedi speaks at a number of national and regional events on business growth topics, entrepreneurism and information technology solutions.

Dr. Pirkul is the Dean of the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UTD. During the last 15 years, Dean Hasan Pirkul has transformed the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas into one of the nation’s foremost public business schools through his leadership and guidance. The school’s academic programs are now ranked by BusinessWeek, Financial Times and U.S. News & World Report. Among public business schools, two SOM programs (Professional MBA and Executive MBA) are ranked in the top 10 by BusinessWeek. Dr. Pirkul helped create the UTD Top 100 Business School Research Rankings™, a benchmark of faculty research output in leading peer-reviewed journals.The school has steadily climbed in those rankings, moving from 40th in 2005 to 16th worldwide in 2011.
Imtiaz Hussain is a 25 year IT veteran, leader and manager. He has led the Infrastructure team to deliver the largest Cisco Public Cloud Platform for America Movil in Latin America, an operation that resulted in $24 Million in service bookings. Likewise, Mr. Hussain developed a partner based solution for service providers to enable cloud migration to private and public cloud, which generated $12 Million in revenue in its first year. Mr. Hussain is a Cisco Certified Internet Expert.
Jordan Pugh is an NFL veteran whose number one passion in life is football. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints in 2014 prior to the club’s NFC Divisional Playoff game to strengthen the secondary and special teams units. Before joining the Saints, Mr. Pugh played as safety for the Washington Redskins in 2013 and 2012. He was originally drafted in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, where he played for two years. Admired by fans and teammates alike, Mr. Pugh has caught the attention of the sports media community, writers and broadcasters, who comment on his trusted speed and tackling ability. Mr. Pugh received a B.S. degree in university studies, which includes a business major and double minor in communication and sport management.
Harris Razak is Vice President and General Manager at Ericsson and is currently responsible for managing the Verizon account. Verizon is one of Ericsson’s largest customers globally. Before being named to his current position in March of 2016, Mr. Razak was Vice President and General Manager for Customer Unit AT&T at Ericsson. He was responsible for managing Ericsson’s wireless business with AT&T. He had responsibility for Sales and Operations for their business at AT&T. Mr. Razak was instrumental in helping AT&T launch 4G across the US.
Shadman Zafar is an entrepreneur and distinguished leader in business, technology, and digital transformation, with global leadership expertise across financial services, entertainment, and telecommunications. Mr. Zafar is an accomplished inventor with several granted patents in US and internationally. Mr. Zafar is active in the community and served on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club from 2004 to 2006. In this role, Zafar sponsored a youth computing education program, creating the curriculum and leading the teaching on software engineering, computing skills, and robotics. Mr. Zafar is also the Chairman and CEO of the Star Foundation, a non-profit global organization for the advancement of science in service of society. He is currently researching sociological impacts of emerging technology trends on contemporary society.
